A Message from the Principal

                LANCASTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Dear Lancaster Families,

We are so happy to be sharing another year with you and your children!  Since the doors first opened at Lancaster in 1960, the faculty and staff has always believed that all children can learn.  This year we are strengthening that commitment and proclaiming that “We have the fearless expectation that all students will learn.”
It is my hope that you will join us in our goal to encourage our students to not only do their best, but to redefine what their best could be.  Our children must feel love, appreciation and support at school and at home.  The boys and girls need to know we are working together for them.  For this reason, we ask that you continue to keep the lines of communication open between home and school.  Two important ways to do that are to check and sign your child’s agenda every day and to always let your children’s teachers and the main office know of any phone number changes.
This year, we have moved to a county-wide report card and we would like to spend a few minutes with each parent in person to explain it as it pertains to your child’s progress during a report card conference.  This will take place on October 29th from 1:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  (Your teacher will contact you with specific appointment times.)  Until then, we look forward to seeing you at Open House on September 18th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Chick-Fil-A will be on campus selling their delicious chicken sandwiches!

                                                                                    Yours in education,

                                                                                    Mrs. Reyes
